
Anjali graduated from Middlesex University Mauritius in 2016. She did the bar course at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple on March 2020 and the Mauritian Bar on September 2021. She was awarded a certificate in fund administration by CLTI in September 2024.
Anjali has acquired experience in both litigious and transactional matters ranging from civil disputes, divorces, land disputes, employment, intellectual property, trusts, financial services, insurance, AML-CFT including financial crimes, data protection and privacy matters, policy drafting, buy and sell transactions and acquisition of assets, contract drafting and vetting.
She has appeared before the District Courts, the Intermediate Courts for various civil disputes and the Supreme Court for divorce cases.
She also has a good command of the following laws such as procurement, customs, banking, corporate, partnerships, shipping, insolvency, taxation, securities, telecommunication and technology including those pertinent to virtual assets.
She has a sound overview of the fund industry, contract derivatives and swaps used in transactions to minimize risks. She has developed an interest in corporate, insolvency and other related matters.
